Timber Resource Group (TRG) is the wood procurement company responsible for purchasing spruce & fir sawlogs for Stratton Lumber, Moose River Lumber and Fontaine Inc sawmills which produce over 200 million board feet of lumber annually.
In addition to direct deliveries to the sawmills located in Stratton & Moose River, Maine and Woburn, Quebec; TRG has a network of Log Yards throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York where suppliers can bring spruce/fir as well as other species and grades of logs.
We also are able to buy spruce & fir logs Roadside, directly from your logging job site in ME, NH, VT, NY, MA & PA. We just need to be sure a tractor trailer can get into the job and you have the ability to load trailers.
Marketing – Log Sales
TRG purchases millions of board feet of softwood & hardwood logs each year. The logs (primarily hardwood) not destined for our client mills, are marketed to numerous mills throughout the Northeastern United States, Canada and beyond.
